Why on earth have I included this? Surely this should be relegated to the section on 'hobbies & interests' in the CV? Well, maybe. But it's something I'm quite good at, and it's really rather useful in the big wide world.

One way this translates to the creative/design world is that this makes me very confident on presentations and pitches, and, although I'm yet to be asked to give an acceptance speech for any of the awards I've won, I'm sure I could produce something that would generate tears/laughter/whatever was required without too much trouble.

Over the years it's taught me, amongst other things, how to work well with others, how to develop something across time and through process, how to adapt my performance on-the-fly to an audience, how to speak with authority and how to keep people entertained.

There's also the aspect of it making me a more 'rounded' person I suppose - always nice to have a good varied CV. But above that, it's also something of which I am rather proud and at which I seem to be getting better with age and the more of it that I do.
