Knifesmith Gallery
Knifesmith Gallery is an important new art space in the centre of Bristol, with a remit for showing challenging and beautiful contemporary and historic work.
Knifesmith is fast becoming one of Bristol's primary commercial art galleries since opening on October 25th 2008 with an exhibition of the work of UK artist Barry Burman (1943-2001).
Independent curator, Katharine Cockshaw is assisting Knifesmith in selecting exhibitions. Katharine has worked with prominent British and international artists including Turner Prize winners and Royal Academicians. She has worked extensively with regional art galleries and museums, and with the Royal Academy London.
Situated on the historic Christmas Steps in the heart of Bristol, Knifesmith is one of several venues for visual art in the locality offering original work and limited edition prints.
